General Audition Information
The Rep operates under a LORT (League of Resident Theatres) B+/D contract with the Actors Equity Association and The Rep's Imaginary Theatre Company operates under a TYA (Theatre for Young Audiences) contract.

St. Louis Auditions
The Rep holds local general auditions once annually. General auditions are to fulfill casting for the entire season.
The audition requirements vary season to season but generally require actors to prepare two contrasting monologues (or a monologue and a song for musical auditions). Both AEA and non-AEA actors are invited to audition.
Other audition opportunities may be scheduled from time to time as necessary.
Announcements of local auditions are posted on this website and also made through publications including the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and The Riverfront Times.
