Angels in America Mural Unveiling

Join us as we unveil a new work of art to celebrate our community, commemorate the opening of Angels in America and ring in the debut season of The Rep's new artistic director, Hana S. Sharif.

Acclaimed mural artist Cbabi Bayoc is creating a new work inspired by Tony Kushner's masterpiece, which will adorn the Manchester Avenue-facing wall of Urban Chestnut's brewery in The Grove. The piece will highlight the themes of the play, including transformation, embracing your identity and community healing.

We'll unveil the new mural at 2 p.m., and encourage guests to stick around afterward for drinks, food and an opportunity to meet the artist.
