The Story
An exhilarating story with grit, wit and emotion set against the volatile backdrop of racial tension in 1963 Brooklyn. At the intersection of conflict and co-existence, along an avenue dividing two ethnic neighborhoods, the a cappella rhythms of doo-wop, rock-n-roll, gospel and blues provide a common language.
