The Story

Bored by her predictable English husband and suburban English existence, Mrs. Joe Bradshaw astounds her family by running off to Greece for a two-week holiday, where she emerges as Shirley Valentine. This achingly funny tour de force had extended runs on Broadway and in London’s West End and inspired the film of the same name.
