The Story
Winner of the 1980 Pulitzer Prize for drama, a no-holds-barred romantic story full of comedy and warmth. The courtship of Sally Talley and Matt Friedman in Lebanon, Missouri during the summer of 1944 is filled with Lanford Wilson’s great poetry. There is always a moment when we reach out for a person we need to share our lives with — Talley’s Folly is about that moment.
