The Matchmaker
By Thornton Wilder
Directed by Susan Gregg
1989-1990 Mainstage Season
The Story
The exuberant comedy classic about the wonderful Dolly Levi, who offers to help an irascible widower find a wife, only to put herself at the top of his list of prospects. Love and magic are in the air as mismatched people end up in the right combinations—all of which is skillfully arranged by Dolly. A delightful romantic play for the holidays.
