The Taming of the Shrew

By William Shakespeare
Directed by Bruce Longworth

March 17 - April 16 , 1999

1998-1999 Mainstage Season

The Story

The Bard returns to our stage with the brawling tale of the dauntless swaggerer who meets his bride’s fiery temper with a more blistering fire of his own. Shakespeare’s rich language fuels one of the theatre’s most boisterous farces—watching the comic love story of Kate and Petruchio and their tempestuous courtship is unahashed theatrical joy.
