Rock out to our MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET playlist

With Million Dollar Quartet opening in previews tomorrow, we're getting a bit antsy to see this electric rock 'n' roll musical take the stage. To scratch that itch, we're going back to the source: the original recordings and live performances of Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins.

We've put together a YouTube playlist of some of our favorite tunes from the quartet at the height of their powers in the mid-to-late 1950s. It includes the actual recording of their legendary jam session at Sun Studios in 1956, which formed the basis for the hit musical adaptation.
