St. Louis Theater Circle unveils nominations for the best local theater in 2020 and 2021

After a pandemic-induced hiatus, the St. Louis Theater Circle is returning to honor the best of local theater in 2020 and 2021.

The Muny and Repertory Theatre of St. Louis lead the way with 27 nominations each. A total of 21 professional companies received nominations for 43 productions. Touring shows are ineligible.

The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis (The Rep) will launch a brand new holiday tradition with its first-ever annual production of Michael Wilson’s adaptation of the Charles Dickens classic, A Christmas Carol.
